Creepy hotel, bad employee behaviour, room was extremely dirty and wornout, stain bed and smelly, very noisy room.

The amenities like bottled water was consistently filled and extra bottles were put in on the counter and in the fridge

The first night, the bathroom was not clean, we didn't have towels and the soap dispenser was empty. I moved to the couch and there was an outline of dust under it. The water to fill the bathtub was coming out Brown, I had to let it run for a few minutes before I would come clear

Samala's employees fulfilled all of my wishes, even my wish for having a garden view and a high floor for a nice view on the city (I could see Baywalk very clear). The room was comfy and clean. The check-in and check-out, even my laundry I gave the hotel went very smooth. Highly professional and experienced hotel crew! I enjoyed the Samala and I would come again.

Exploring the area I got lost very quickly in the labyrinth-like old town neighborhood. That's how Jakarta must have looked like before it turned into a metropolis. You will be lost without GPS.

The room stinks of mould and not very clean, dusr under the bed. There is no fridge in the room. The towels are well used. ( It has to be replaced every 3 months)

the towel is very dirty, the staff is not cooperative (we must wait for more than an hour to get my room key), the breakfast is not good, only have white rice, fried rice, veg, fried chicken, congee, soup, tea, water and coffee, its not equal with the price i must pay

I stayed in this hotel due to massive black out happened in almost all part of java island in Indonesia quite recently. The check in process was chaos and a nightmare, we waited more than 3 hours just to check in to the room. The receptionist staff was totally unprepared to handle emergency situation like massive number of guests checking in at the same time. The queue line was very long and they did not separate the queue line for the guests who have booked the hotel and the walk-in guests who did not have any bookings at the property yet. They should be trained and there should be manager on duty at all times to handle situation such as this. They showed inconsistent behavior and more lenient towards guests who are more aggressive and intimidating. The restaurant has only one staff standby at the cashier, this one staff goes back and forth to the kitchen so when I ordered food the staff was not there, it took more than 1 hour to prepare my order (I just ordered nasi cap cay at the moment) and the restaurant was not busy at all, I only saw a few guests dining there. Obviously, they lack of manpower too.

I found it unusual that we had to open the bottles of beer and wine served at the restaurant ourselves as well as filling the glas.

Everything, reception not good and don't have nice way to serve, food not good and the glass not clean Room is so noisy and not comfortable

The staff weren’t very supportive And delay check-in almost an hour and didn’t speak English well As well when we arrived was 14:00 The room wasn’t ready for us. Very poor service. Very Poor internet connection. No safety box in the room. Some of bathroom supplies are missing. The towels were dirty. The hotel doesn’t deserve even two stars, I will not even think to come again for this hotel

Close to city center and airport. Clean room ..Front staffs were kind and helpful for area information , restaurant and calling taxis.

Room was too small like all Jakarta city for deluxe double room. Breakfast needs more caring. Too many restaurant staffs and too many kind of food ,but no one cares about look and temperature of food.

The Stuff was not in a good way to take any kind of complain..the bath Things are very Easy to be broken So that you will have to pay for the dammige..the Food is very cold..I think it's was my worst Hotel Ever been
